Guidelines
It is probably easier to submit for review by knowing first what genres The Bonny Swan Reviews will NOT consider: Business, Technical, Children's Books, Teen, Young Adult, Christian-oriented, How-To, "Formula" Romance, Cookbooks, Gossip, Behavior-alteration Psychology, Martian-Style Sci-fiction, or anything Feminist-oriented. While we have no personal qualms with these genres, we are simply not interested, and there are plenty of online review sites eager to accept these kinds of books. Submissions that contain "snuff", bestiality or anything we consider beyond the realm of constructive literary merit or entertainment value will immediately be rejected; however this website will never be used to vent personal attacks or comments against any author or their works.

What we DO seek in submissions: Adult Fantasy, Erotica, Horror, Westerns, Mystery, Thriller, Poetry, Collections, original, fresh Adult Romance, and Pagan Spirituality (pro-Dianic/Feminist excluded).

We prefer email attachments for review, but hard copy books will be considered. Please contact before sending; unrequested attachments will be deleted.

Our Positive Policy

If, for any reason, after reading a submitted manuscript and we find it totally unacceptable, you will be informed that we must decline to review. Our policy prohibits us from publishing a review if our overall reaction to the manuscript is more negative than positive. Again, we will not use any submitted work to make personal attacks or comments about an author or their work. We have seen this happen before and reject such practice as irresponsible.
